What your team does :

Design plays an integral role at Clio, making up one of the three pillars of our Research and Development organization alongside Product Management and Engineering. Product designers directly engage in researching the behaviours and needs of our users. They act as champions of user experience as we work to transform the way legal professionals provide services to their clients. What youll work on :

As the Senior Product Designer, Invoicing at Clio, youll join a diversely skilled design team using modern design tools :

Partner with product management and engineering leads to define objectives and key results for your team.

Be responsible for balancing speed, quality, and consistency of design.

Advocate for our customers by understanding their behaviours, needs, and root causes of their problems.

Concept, prototype, design and present solutions that solve both business and user problems and deliver measurable outcomes.

Be able to articulate the rationale behind your design decisions, and be able to ask difficult questions and challenge assumptions.

Coach and mentor fellow designers on a range of design practices.

Provide thoughtful feedback in team critiques.

Break down complex concepts into smaller, more manageable pieces.

Conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and analysis.

Leverage metrics to drive product design and measure product success.

Be able to adapt your process to the needs of the situation.

What you bring :

Experience scoping work to manageable milestones that balance short-term work with longer-term investments.

A positive attitude & strong communication skills.

A willingness to tackle complex problems.

Strong UI skills and a keen eye for detail.

Strong cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus points if you have :

Experience working on FinTech products.

The full salary range

  • for this role is $126,700 to $149,000 to $171,300 CAD..
  • We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
