Payroll Administrator
Location : Markham, ON
Hybrid role in office 2-3 days a week.

We are currently expanding our Payroll team and looking to hire a Payroll Administrator.
Position Summary
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of the semi-monthly payroll processing for multiple companies. This individual will also provide day-to-day payroll support to the Payroll Manager, Director of Payroll, Human Resources Team and employees.
Job Responsibilities :
- Semi-Monthly payroll processing for multiple companies in multiple provinces
- Point of contact for employee concerns regarding payroll
- Generate both pre and post payroll reports
- Perform year-end close procedures and process employee T4s annually
- Benefit administration in ADP
- ADP system administration; comparing data in ADP to the HRIS, creating new pay codes, data cleanup, etc.
- Creates and updates process documentation
- Reviews and audits payroll
- Calculates & accrues / process applicable payroll taxes & workers compensation
- Participates in company financial audits when required
Qualifications (Minimum required Education and Experience)
Minimum of 3-8 years payroll administration experienceExperience with ADP payroll processing and reportingMulti province / multi company payroll processingMulti province / multi company EHT / workers compensation registration experienceExperience with Workday preferredProfessional, well-organized individual looking to work in a fast-paced environmentA strong working knowledge of the various provincial employment standardsStrong communication skillsStrong attention to detailMicrosoft OfficeCompany Conformance Statements
