Job DetailsTeam SupportYou are responsible for working closely with the survivor care staff and volunteer team to help build support plans for case management to determine the best forms of support for survivors through highly individualized services;
provide advice and support to the team in navigating relationships with survivors; and work through challenges and troubleshoot with the team.
This involves support check-ins with staff and volunteers, as well as training and updating available services and referrals.
help to create and support the tri-fold wrap-around care model for survivors in the areas of case managers, advocates (friends and mentors), and professional support (psychotherapists, spiritual directors, and pastoral care.
SurvivorsYou are responsible for meeting with and supporting survivors directly through support and / or case management as needed and reviewing their support plans regularly.
This requires a flexible schedule and a willingness to adapt to new situations quickly. You are responsible for developing a plan for managing the emergency hotline number.
PartnershipPartnerships are super important in this role. Building relationships with service providers, law enforcement, churches, and other groups is vital to creating a good support network for survivors.
This involves partnership development meetings and stewarding partnerships well. ResourcesYou are responsible for maintaining the database of resources / partnerships available for survivor care and sharing this information with the staff team to ensure that we can provide good well-rounded care.
You are responsible for researching trends, patterns, and new resources to support survivors in their journey to freedom.
You are responsible for reviewing budgets and expenses monthly.Safe HouseYou are responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operations of our Safehouse, transitionally housing survivors of sex trafficking.
You are responsible for assisting grant applications for financial support of the safehouse.
