This will involve design and execution of experiments. Data analysis for genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics experiments will also be part of the responsibility. - Manuscript writing.- Routine maintenance of lab equipment, plate readers, thermocycler, qPCR, freezers etc - Point of contact to coordinate any required maintenance with the company that provided the machine and scheduling anything required. - Organizes and manages the phenotypic and genotypic data collecting. - Maintains a user schedule, handles administrative privileges and manages data for common equipment in the lab. - General lab managerial type tasks such as tracking lab supplies, ordering reagents, and other required : MINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION / TRAINING : - Master's of Science required. EXPERIENCE : - Experience with writing manuscripts required.- Experience with NextGen sequencing, PCR, RT-PCR, Mutagenesis, CDNA cloning, DNA / RNA purification processes are essential.- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
