We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Burnaby, British Columbia. The role is situated within the finance industry where you will be in charge of producing client invoices promptly and accurately, with a focus on both terminal and stevedoring billing.
Responsibilities :
- Analyzing various reports such as terminal operating, public tariff, customer contracts, and vessel data to generate precise invoices for customers according to their respective contracts.
- Finalizing, scanning, and emailing invoices to customers on a regular basis.
- Transferring data from the billing system to Agresso weekly.
- Assisting with customer inquiries related to invoices and ensuring their resolution.
- Updating terminal tariff and stevedoring rates annually.
- Keeping track of invoices and corresponding backup used for billing.
- Interacting with operations and clients regularly regarding billing issues.
- Driving agreed initiatives forward, suggesting new initiatives, and fostering a sense of continuous improvement.
- Maintaining up-to-date billing training manuals.
- Utilizing various software systems such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Computerized Billing, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Answering Inbound Calls.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary
- Must have knowledge in Computerized Billing
- Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM is expected
- Proficiency in Epic Software is essential
- Experience with About Time software is needed
- Understanding and experience with Accounting Functions is required
- Must be skilled in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
- Must be comfortable Answering Inbound Calls
