Hello, I'm Jordie and along with my Partner Kaitlyn we are looking for a responsible live caregiver for our 2 daughters (one of which requires some special care). We have a busy household with me working full time as a Project Manager and my partners Realty career growing Legs and we are looking for a more permanent fix to our childcare needs as I think Gigi and Grandpa are getting a little overworked as of late. We are looking for an individual that is well versed and excited about child care that also takes pride in their art. Given the special circumstances of having one neurotypical child and one older autistic child, the care and needs of each can change quite rapidly. We are looking to welcome someone that is engaged and can instill positive experiences and memories for our children and keep the screen time to a minimum.Our Kids : Presley - is a high energy (Nearly) 6 year old girl that attends french immersion Kindergarten for full days on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as every Second Friday. She loves to craft and play as well as show off her new dance and gymnastics moves. She’s very social, confident and loves attention. She is also very helpful around the house and with her older sister.Paisley - Is our quiet little wall flower. She is 8 years old and is non-verbal autistic. She is very sweet, snuggly and fully capable / mobile with a ton of personality to boot although, her talking is limited to simple phrases, hand gestures and every paw patrol scene there is available to quote. She’s very intuitive and can understand you perfectly fine but takes a little extra time to communicate her needs. She uses her core board and iPad occasionally to communicate but we would love it if someone could spend some more time with her on it to help familiarize her with it.We recently moved to a 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 3.75 acres of beautiful trees and grass with ample storage and a large kingsize bedroom with a small walk-in closet in the basement available for someone to take over should the proper fit be found. The basement has 9 foot ceilings, large windows, it’s own full bathroom, a very large rec room and additional spare room as well. That paired with the outside areas and shop / gym equipment, there’s plenty of space to stretch your legs.We also have 2 older dogs (Alpine and Gus Gus) that are inside / outside dogs and incredibly friendly, as well as 3 bunnies that live in the shop for the winter and mostly outside during the other seasons so if you’re interested in the opportunity just be mindful that there will be animals running around as well.It’s been a very tough decision to enlist the aid of another care provider for our kids and we have done our best to put it off but with the changes in our lives and as our kids get older and more independent, we would like to take the opportunity to find someone that will hopefully be around for some time to keep consistency and continuity in the household in a positive way.We are just starting to look into fulltime Live in Nannies and are unsure of what the salary and particulars should be but we are more than open to negotiations or sponsoring an individual with room and board or combinations there in.Please visit CanadianNanny.ca to view full details and to apply.
