Salary : $25.09 - $25.88 per hour

The Cook 2 / Baker 2 performs and delegates tasks related to the preparation of nutritional and appetizing foods in quantities required for resident and staff meals; and performs other related and allied duties which contribute to the orderly and efficient operation of the Nutrition Services Department.

Duties include :

• Determining quantities of food and number of regular and special patient meals to be prepared;
• Ordering, preparing and cooking required quantities of various foods;
• Assisting with the cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment;
• Receiving deliveries, transporting supplies to storage areas and retrieving as required;
• Assisting with food portioning and serving; and,
• Other duties as required.

Bi-Weekly Hours : 30 Hours Bi-Weekly / 7.5 Hr Days / Rotating Shifts / Every Second Weekend
