Position : Food Expediter and Runner, Victoria
Reports to : Restaurant Director, Victoria
Marilena features local and global seafood paired with high-quality sustainable ingredients that adhere to the highest standards. Our front-of-house team, led by Restaurant Director Aaron Matsuzaki, is passionate about delivering an unparalleled level of hospitality set within Marilena’s warm, contemporary dining room anchored by an open concept kitchen.
JOB SUMMARY :
The Food Expediter and Runners are the liaison between the culinary and service teams to ensure dishes are executed correctly, on time and delivered to guests with perfection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Carry and deliver food to the guest in a prompt and professional manner
- Communicate well with the Chef and other staff members during busy stressful times
- Able to multitask and have an eye for detail
- Ensure plating is clean and tidy before leaving the kitchen
- Transfer important information, such as special requests, between service staff and the kitchen
- Other duties may be assigned as required
