International School Vacancies for Certified Teachers Chaoyin International Education Group (CIEG) is currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic professional educators in a variety of subject areas for Full-Time contract positions to join their international team in China for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.CIEG operates eight private schools in Qingdao, in China’s eastern Shandong province, is a port city of skyscrapers, parks and beautiful beaches bordering the Yellow Sea. Qingdao; also known as Tsingtao), is regarded by some Chinese as one of the most beautiful and cleanest cities in China.This exciting adventure gives teachers an opportunity to experience the Chinese culture and traditions, while working in a safe and secure environment in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao.Applicants must : A Bachelor degree or above required Possess a current Certificate of Qualification Be prepared to use technology for planning, attendance monitoring, communication, classroom instruction and reporting purposes; Monitor, assess and record students’ learning progress; Communicate with parents to ensure they are aware of their children’s progress; Supervise classroom activities; Participate in parent meetings, department meetings, and professional development activities; Be prepared to work positively towards the fulfillment of the School goals. Preference will be given to those applicants who : Dedicated educator, love for children and willing to get to know more about Chinese culture; Have knowledge in and passion for the B.C. Revised Curriculum Be able to work collaboratively with program coordinator and teachers; Be able to develop / design course materials and unit plans with an integration of Chinese curriculum; Be able to incorporate lessons / activities focusing on developing students’ social and emotional capacities; Be able to create active and inquiry-based teaching and learning in the classroom (applicants with a background in Science is a plus); Be able to evaluate students based on learning outcomes; Be able to adhere to the school professional regulations. Salary and Benefits : Monthly Salary : $5,700 - $9,000 CAD (before tax) –depending on years of COQ teaching experience. (with 50% pay for all Winter / Summer holidays) Monthly apartment allowance; Annual return flight to Canada / flight allowance Medical Insurance; Work Visa.
