About the Role :

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating project costs and preparing detailed quotations. You will source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that all estimates are accurate and comply with project specifications. Your role will involve developing quotations for projects ranging from $1M to $100M, maintaining effective communication with suppliers and customers, and drafting proposals to submit tenders that meet specific requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of bid labor and material databases, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Your ability to strategize and maintain clear communication will be essential in delivering successful project outcomes.

What you need to Succeed :

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical project estimation.
• Relevant Electrical TQ or field experience, or AScT., E.I.T., or P.Eng status.
• Strong understanding of electrical sub-trades and installation methods.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with industry practices, tendering processes, and Bid Depository regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Accubid and LiveCount estimating software.
• Experience with BlueBeam, AutoCAD, or BIM is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What You Will Receive :

You will receive a salary up to $110,000 per year, plus a comprehensive total compensation package. The exact salary will be determined based on your experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
