Position : Product Development Engineer or CPI Location : Saint-Laurent 1 day remote work Salary : $85K to $90K plus bonus and full benefits We are working with an international leading manufacturer in Saint-Laurent, seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer. As they continue to expand their operations, they are looking for a talented professional to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, execution, and completion of various manufacturing projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production abroad and quality assurance, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects within established timelines and budgetary constraints. You will act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. The focus of this role will be to ensure smooth development from a technical perspective being resourceful in problem solving and finding solutions.Responsibilities : - Collaborating with the product development team to establish technical requirements for new products, considering factors such as functionality, performance, reliability, and manufacturability- Providing technical support to suppliers assisting with any technical issues to problem solve and overcoming any obstacles which hinder product effectiveness and cause delays- Overseeing the sampling process, reviewing testing and ensuring accuracy- Providing technical insights and recommendations to make informed decisions based on technical feasibility and requirements- Collaborating with teams to provide technical specifications for products- Assessing manufacturing processes to evaluate processes and cost-effectiveness while identifying opportunities for optimization - Actively participating in quality control, corrective and preventative action procedures on the technical aspects of production- Working with product licenses and patents matters - Collaborating with technical teams, sales and client to support and guide on technical aspects and challenges Qualifications : - BEng Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or related- At least 3-5 years of experience of project management within a technical environment- Good knowledge of manufacturing process related to quality processes- Experience working with overseas manufacturing is considered a strong asset- Strong technical aptitude, resourceful and problems solving skillsPlease send your resume in Word format to Jill Kalakay at jillkquantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000 For more details, click here.OUR VIRTUAL DOORS ARE OPEN We're also bringing the interviews to you by various web applications, virtually Contact us today for your next opportunity.
