MaxSys Staffing and Consulting - an Agilus company is looking for a Procurement Advisor, Senior to advice, lead, manage and undertake competitive procurement projects for User Departments on as, if and when requested basis by the respective Procurement Services Department. Consultants will provide advice and serves to assist User Departments to select the best value supplier for their specific requirements while adhering to all Canadian procurement and contract laws, and the respective university’s Procurement Policies / Procedures available online

Job Details :

Role : Procurement Advisor, Senior

Location : Remote, some onsite

Duration : ASAP to 3 years

Level of Effort : As and when required

Language : English Essential (Bilingual is an asset)

Responsibilities, but not limited to :

  • perform needs assessment, develop business case, perform risk assessment
  • perform tasks associated with Pre-Award and Solicitation issuance and Contract Drafting
  • Assist with preparation of briefing notes of the procurement process upon awarding
  • Provide administrative support for the procurement process and maintain filed for future references
  • Provide support / advice for any vendor conflict resolution and / or vendor complaint processes

Must-Haves within Canadian public sector entitie s :

  • 5+ years experience in the past ten (10) years managing competitive procurement projects
  • Led 5+ RFP projects within the past (3) years that resulted in successful proponents and signed contracts as primary writer for the solicitation.
  • Led 3+ RFP projects within the past five (5) years that included scored shortlist processes, such as interviews, demonstrations, presentations, etc.
  • Must provide 2 sample projects that includes NRFP and RFPQ document with evaluation for each.
  • Experience evaluating proposals withing last 5 years.
  • Experience with developing needs assessments, business cases, and risk assessments.
