Iron Ridge Secondary Campus (IRSC) is a brand-new school opening in August 2024. IRSC is looking to create a vibrant educational institution committed to fostering academic excellence, character development, and physical well-being among students. Assignment : Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position Full-time FTE will combine the following courses : Cosmetology Physical Education Duties will commence on August 28, 2024, and continue for the remainder of the 2024 / 2025 school year. Qualifications : Extensive experience in the Cosmetology field, a commitment to excellence in education, and the ability to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment. Passion for education and commitment to student success. Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills Assessment literate Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs Strong planning and organizational skills Strong classroom management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member Commitment to ongoing professional growth An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment.
