We are seeking an experienced hands-on Head Gardener to be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and development of a family-owned private estate. As part of our team, you will join in a positive, friendly and collaborative work environment. There is potential for a long-term opportunity in this position.Compensation TBD depending on candidates qualifications.This position will initially be a 6 month contract (Apr-Sept) with the possibility for future full time employment.Key Responsibilities : -Spring and Fall garden preparations-Day to day garden and property maintenance-Assisting Property Manager with a variety of tasks-Tree and forest management-Blowing leaves, power washing, general grounds keeping.Requirements and Qualifications : -Previous landscaping and gardening experience a must.-Drivers license and own transportation a must-experience using small machines an asset (tractor, riding lawn mower, ATVs, etc)-Chainsaw / pole-saw experience and assetPlease apply by sending your resume.
