Under the supervision of the site superintendent and / or the foreman, the cement worker-applicator works in close collaboration with all workers to ensure coordination within a civil engineering & infrastructure sector, commercial, institutional, industrial sector, heavy civil engineering & urban earthworks.

What You Will Do

• Prepare, place and repair concrete on various surfaces such as floors, walls and structures, sidewalks, and finish it according to specifications.
• Choose, measure and mark materials to repair or finish the foundations according to the plans and specifications.
• Carry out the layouts taking into account the prescriptions of the foremen and / or superintendents and quotes.
• Work in close collaboration with carpenters and specialized laborers as well as other trade shifts on the site.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards.
• Work as a team, maintain a pleasant and trusting working climate, communicate effectively with colleagues and other shifts on the site.
• Perform all other related tasks related to operations and requests coming from the foreman or superintendent.
