Hello! We are looking for an experienced, confident caregiver for our 3.5 yr old and 10-month old children and flexible support for our family; someone who has experience creating a fun, healthy, engaging and safe environment and a can-do attitude. Above all else, we are looking for the “right fit” for our family! This is an opportunity for reliable, consistent employment on Salt Spring island—one of the most beautiful places in the world—surrounded by hiking trails and a nature reserve, with ocean and mountain views. Our ideal candidate is easy-going, fun-loving, competent, organised, and kind. We need a caregiver who embraces creative indoor and active, outdoor play and is a real self-starter. A background in music or art are a plus! You’ll be responsible for transport to activities outside our home (including the beach, playground and occasional play dates) while managing light-housekeeping, meal prep and household tasks. Nanny Requirements :

• Enjoys spending time with young children
• Physically fit and energetic (our little guy moves fast and loves biking and soccer!)
• Education in early childhood education an asset.
• 2 years child care experience with children aged 6 months to 5 years.
• Proficient knowledge of home safety and valid first aid certificate.
• Valid driver's license, with clean driving record and proficient driving skills.
• meal preparation, light housekeeping, ability to run errands
• Outstanding verbal communication skills, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Fully vaccinated, including Covid-19
