Description de posteGraduate of a recognized Nursing Program Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing with the provincial regulatory body of nurses Completion of an accredited peri-operative nursing program a requirement with 3-5 years in the intra-operative environment BCLS / ACLS Certified and PALS, if applicable Minimum 5 years in a leadership role (e.g. : Charge Nurse, Specialty Coordinator, Practice Lead)
Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership and Collaboration : Lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team, fostering staff participation at all levels in planning, delivering, and improving programs and services.
- Quality and Compliance Management : Ensure adherence to staffing standards, patient safety protocols, and College requirements while promoting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Strategic Growth and Financial Oversight : Drive strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, revenue growth, and profitability, while actively managing financial performance and reporting to stakeholders.
- Physician Recruitment and Resource Planning : Collaborate with the Medical Director to recruit and onboard physicians, manage clinical equipment inventory, and oversee Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
- Accreditation and Governance : Prepare for Accreditation Canada inspections, facilitate quarterly Quality and Medical Advisory Committee meetings, and safeguard patient confidentiality.
- Education and Innovation : Promote staff development through educational initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in technology and medical practices to support excellence in care delivery.
