Job duties
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Build, lay subflooring and build foundations, door, install floor beams, staircases, frame buildings, and erect walls and roof systems by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding, and hardware
- Layout floorings, roofing and drywall ensuring they are leveled and compatible
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures
- Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines always
Terms of employment
Full-time, permanent (40 hours / week)
Expected Employment Start Date : as soon as possible

35 / h
Benefits package
Vacation pay is accrued at 4% and you will be registered for our optional medical / dental benefit package. The company pays 50% of the benefits and the employee pays the remaining 50%.

3133 Sumner Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3E3 and multiple locations in Metro Vancouver depending on the jobsite address
