About the Opportunity

Prepare and oversee the timely issuance of monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Lead and optimize the month end close process, including accrual accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.

Manage and approve journal entries, accruals, and general ledger postings.

Support the yearend audit process, preparing working papers and responding to queries.

Support the CFO in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reporting integrity.

Ensure adequate documentation of all accounting processes and controls.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment between financial planning and operational goals.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve decision making.

Manage day-to-day cashflow and funding requirements.

Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor adherence to contract covenants.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

About You

CPA designation required.

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.

Strong technical accounting skills.

Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with QuickBooks is an asset.

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

Experience in IT services or technology industries preferred.

Salary

125,000 to $135,000 / year
