Venor is proud to partner with E.H. Price in their search for an Estimator to join their team in Dartmouth, NS. E.H. Price, a division of Price Industries Limited, is a powerful market leader in supplying Air Distribution, Industrial, and Mechanical products for the commercial market. After more than 70 years, E.H. Price remains a privately held family company whose founding principles of business integrity, first class service, innovation, and commitment to people have never changed.
Reporting to the Air Distribution Manager, the Estimator will be responsible for completing day to day sheet metal estimates as well as assisting in shaping and defining the strategy of the estimation department. Working alongside the Air Distribution and estimating teams, the Estimator must be able to manage incoming bids, understand market / industry conditions, and ultimately work individually and within a team to put forward purposeful and competitive bids to EH Price’s customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Organize and maintain inbound requests for quotation (RFQs).
- Complete quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam or manually.
- Complete bids and hand them to sales team in a timely manner.
- Work with estimating and air distribution teams to determine pricing and strategy.
- Complete drawing reviews, change orders, and miscellaneous quotes.
- Participate in training, both in the office and at vendor events (some travel may be required).
- Promote Price and other 3rd party supplier’s products.
- Support warehouse functions as required.
