Department of Families, the Department of Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources (EDITNR) is seeking to fill Clerk positions for Brandon locations.
Department of Families : Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Officer, this position is responsible for the processing of financial and administrative documents pertaining to the various programs within Families Western Region's operations. The successful candidate requires effective computer skills as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, families, services providers and agencies. The candidate will need to understand and follow the policies and procedures of the Government of Manitoba to ensure fiscal and administrative responsibility within the programs and operations of the office. The successful candidate will perform clerical and administrative support work in support of the region and fellow staff.
Department of Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources : The Program Support Clerk (PSC) provides program, financial and administrative support services and is involved in a wide range of activities, such as but not limited to, client (individual, employer, or organization), documentation and case management, contract and report generation, customer service, office support, financial management, equipment and service contracts, and archiving.

Duties : These positions are responsible for the processing of financial and administrative documents pertaining to the various programs within Families Western Region's operations and the EDITNR, Labour Market Skills Division. Duties include accounts payable, compiling and reconciling financial reports and statistical information, preparing contracts and reports, switchboard and reception, and records management including maintaining and archiving files.
