Job Advertisement : Accounts Payable Clerk Location : Kelowna, BC About Us : Our client is a well established construction company based in Kelowna, committed to delivering quality projects and exceptional service. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team and support the accounting department to assist with an increased workload. Please note this is a contract position anticipated for two months full time work initially. If you’re ready to contribute to the success of their company, we’d love to hear from you! Job Title : Accounts Payable Clerk Reports To : Accounting Manager Type : Full-Time hours - contract position Key Responsibilities : Inputting and processing invoices into the accounting system Managing and reconciling accounts payable transactions Ensuring accuracy in payment processing and maintaining financial records Liaising with vendors and subcontractors regarding invoice queries General accounting duties, including assisting with monthly and year-end reporting Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely disbursements Assisting with other administrative and accounting tasks as required Qualifications : Previous experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills to work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Construction industry experience is an asset Experience with TRAILD software is a significant asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment If you’re an experienced accounts payable professional with an interest in construction and accounting, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company in a dynamic and rewarding field.
