Utilize your accounting expertise and Excel skills to enhance financial processes.About the Role : We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Accountant to join a team of 10 professionals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to the smooth and efficient management of the accounts payable department.Key Responsibilities : Process and verify a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies. Perform three-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and receipt reconciliation). Investigate and resolve price discrepancies and quantity variances with suppliers and internal teams. Record and analyze accounting adjustments, journal entries, and accruals. Apply debits and credits accurately in accounts payable processing. Manage payment schedules and ensure timely processing of supplier payments. Generate reports and maintain accurate tracking of payables. Assist the accounting team in month-end closing activities. Participate in process improvement and automation projects to optimize efficiency.What We Offer : Competitive Salary : $55,000 - $60,000, based on experience. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of accruals, price discrepancies, quantity variances, and three-way matching. Advanced Excel Skills : Proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Bilingual : Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal teams. Analytical Skills : Solid understanding of debits and credits, journal entries, and financial reporting impact.
