Description de posteAssist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and other reporting requirements. Support the Financial reporting team during month, quarter and year end. Work on preliminary / final purchase price calculations for new acquisitions and prepare purchase journal entries. Review opening / final acquisition balances, monthly movements, and final reconciliations for various acquisitions. Analyze monthly acquisition income statements, reconcile changes, and prepare variance explanations. Reconcile bank accounts and sub-ledger accounts. Prepare various regulatory and government reporting (RIBO, GST&HST, sales taxes, quarterly surveys etc.). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance the quality and reliability of financial information. Help team members with their day-to-day questions. Complete other tasks as assigned and other ad-hoc reporting and accounting projects as required. If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please apply Professional accounting designation (CPA) 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing roles, with a focus on public company financial reporting preferred Strong knowledge of IFRS, SEC regulations, and financial accounting standards Must have advanced excel skills Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering accurate and timely financial information. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Strong problem solving, organizational, time management, prioritizing and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross- functionally and present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
