Our client, a large energy producer, is looking to hire a Payroll Analyst to their team for an initial 6 month contract. This role is currently hybrid in Calgary.
Responsibilities Include :
- Support all aspects of time and scheduling, as well as ongoing payroll auditing for Canada.
- Prepare and process payroll for all Canadian employees (salaried, fixed rate, temporary, expatriates) and support regulatory filing and year-end activities.
- Maintain the accuracy of all payroll related data.
- Assist with analysis and issue resolution for domestic payroll and time processes to ensure data is administered correctly.
- Review, coordinate and manage all aspects of SAP Time and Schedule queries (update, audit, review, test, validate).
- Back up and support for other payroll and time team members during absences.
Qualifications :
- 4+ years of payroll experience working with an integrated financial and payroll system.
- PCP Certification, enrolled in or completion of NPI payroll designation course preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with a large ERP payroll system, expertise in SAP is preferred.
- SAP CATS experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of federal, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
