Adecco is currently hiring a experienced Payroll Coordinator for our client leading oil & energy company in Calgary, AB.

We looking for Individual with strong Canadian payroll experienc e and able to perform duties to support all aspects of time and scheduling, as well as ongoing payroll auditing for Canada.

  • Location : Calgary, AB
  • Shift : Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
  • Job type : Temporary contract Full-time hours

Responsibilities :

  • Review, coordinate and manage all aspects of SAP Time and Schedule queries (update, audit, review, test, validate)
  • Configure and maintain time and schedules
  • Assist with analysis and issue resolution for domestic payroll and time processes to ensure data is administered correctly
  • Monitor and report on various leave balances
  • Participate in pay period audits and data review
  • Commit to research and respond to internal / external inquiries on a timely basis
  • Key member in time, schedule, and payroll projects (audits, enhancements, system upgrades, support) to improve quality of payroll services
  • Back up and support for other payroll and time team members during absences
  • Assist with year-end administration as required

Qualification :

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Calgary, AB.
  • 4+ years' progressive experience working with an integrated financial and payroll system
  • At least 2 year of experience in performing full- cycle payroll in Canada.
  • PCP Certification, enrolled in or completion of NPI payroll designation course preferred.
  • Experience in oil & gas, construction, manufacturing or similar industry.
  • SAP experience is an asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proactive problem solving and analytical skills essential
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure of deadlines, multiple projects, changing priorities, and last-minute changes
  • Detail oriented and excellent time management skills
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Works well in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to work independently within a fast-paced team environment
