Payroll Coordinator

As the Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating and processing full cycle payroll for more than 2000 employees.

You will also be responsible for improving the end-to-end payroll process, provide guidance and solutions on payroll and systems, and respond to employee inquiries.

Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Contribute to the processing of semi-monthly payroll in accordance with company and regulatory requirements for 2000+ employees in EmployerD
  • Responding to Managers / Employees inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assisting in requests from other areas of the business (this could be reporting, assistance for payroll or time & attendance)
  • Support in processing special payrolls including quarterly and annual bonus, merit, increases and year-end adjustments
  • Contribute to the processing of new hires, terminations and employee changes in payroll system
  • Produce and provide records of Employment and other payroll-related documents

The value you bring

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in payroll for 100+ employee base or similar accounting administration
  • Have completed / or working towards completion of the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation would be an asset.
  • Experience with SAP-Success Factors, Workforce Software or Desjardins EmployerD would be an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment

Hours : Full-time - 37.5 hour / week

Location : Remote within Canada

Compensation Range : $46,000 - $64,000
