Once home to the region’s most popular racetrack, and later one of its most iconic shopping malls, Lansdowne is yet again the dream location 50 acres of evolutionary potential on which to urbanize and energize the Centre of Richmond’s City Centre.

The role -

Vanprop are seeking a Vice President of Development to lead in the execution of the ambitious and visionary 50-acre master-planned community development at Lansdowne.

The Vice President of Development will work closely with the CEO and be responsible for spearheading the implementation of our comprehensive master plan, with a primary focus on ensuring seamless integration of residential, commercial, retail, and public spaces across the entire 50-acre site.

In this pivotal role, they will orchestrate the phasing strategy for this multi-year development, optimizing market timing and resource allocation to maximize project success.

A key aspect of this position involves the strategic selection, management, and collaboration with various consultants, including design, engineering, communication, marketing and financial professionals.

The successful candidate will undertake detailed financial analyses and projections, while developing and monitoring budgets and financial results throughout all project phases.

Additionally, they will serve as a public representative for Vanprop, liaising with industry members and maintaining crucial relationships with the public, municipal staff, political representatives, partners and industry stakeholders.
