Reporting to the Technical Services and Projects Manager, the main objective of the Projects, Reliability and Maintenance Manager is to increase the reliability of rolling stock while helping to reduce maintenance costs.
He / she helps to implement the preventive and corrective maintenance program in line with the work and priorities of his / her team and the orientations of the management team.
To carry out these tasks, the Reliability and Maintenance Project Manager must carry out reliability analyses, audits and inspections, and evaluate the maintenance plans in place to identify areas for improvement.
He / she provides technical support and helps develop training programs. The project manager acts as a mentor / trainer, assisting workshops.
He must define action plans to reduce the frequency of breakdowns and
reduce maintenance costs
Your responsibilities will be as follows :
Investigate breakdowns and failures, analyze root causes and propose solutions to reduce breakdowns;
Facilitate the development of strategies to improve asset health and reliability in order to prevent and eliminate failures using targeted deployment of maintenance strategies.
Responsible for the complete statistical analysis of data and ensure the subsequent resolution of any issues raised.
- Participate in the improvement of maintenance plans;
- Provide technical support for maintenance staff through a coaching approach;
Assist shop floor teams in reviewing plans (quality plan, risk management plan) and requirements (safety, functionality, regulations) to ensure that reliability provisions are taken into account and resolved prior to asset release.
Take charge of investigation reports related to the Maintenance department;
Resolve technical issues with OEM suppliers
Responsible for identifying recurring problems and their causes, and identifying possible solutions
Identify new technologies and components / parts from new suppliers likely to benefit;
Maintain a constant technology watch
- Obtain bids from potential suppliers;
- Support the implementation of new technologies in the fleet;
- Evaluate the performance and reliability of new technologies and components / parts;
- Must be able to provide support / training at various maintenance centers;
- Be the team's point of contact for determining training needs;
- Assist and mentor new recruits;

Minimum 5 years' experience in diesel mechanics and vehicle electronics
- DEC in mechanical engineering combined with 5 years' experience
- BAC in mechanical engineering combined with 3 years' experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent knowledge of diesel mechanics, electronics and hydraulics
- Passionate about identifying and solving technical problems
- Knowledge of maintenance-related continuous improvement methods
- Ability to draft documents
- Ability to communicate training information effectively
- Functional written and spoken English
