The Senior Manager, Technology Operations contributes to the overall success of Technology Operations by ensuring plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of business strategies and objectives.
Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will :
- The Senior manager will work on a variety of technology operations programs that meet technology operations goals. Managing these programs has a direct impact on financial performance, operational risk management, and delivery effectiveness within technology
- Document process flows to aid in understanding, control points, pain points, oversight, and where current problems originate as well as seek out additional opportunities for improvement.
- Design operation programs that affect technology operations; perform change management by working with key business, technology and operational teams.
- Manage and continuously improve existing technology programs; keep senior leaders informed of program statuses
- Design and produce reporting on program related KPIs, and engage key stakeholders and senior leadership for KPIs analysis to achieve program performance improvement
- Enables a culture that promotes critical thinking, change leadership, and includes sharing best practices at global scale
- Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits.
Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams
- Seek out industry trends and organizational knowledge to understand alternative approaches or solutions.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or related field. Master degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, consulting or related field
- Experience in financial management in a corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- An agile mindset with a focus on delivering business value associated with operations transformation.
- Strong analytical skills, results orientation and data-driven approach in decision making (via KPIs and metrics)
