YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Team Leader to inspire, guide and develop sales personnel to lead profitable sales growth through established best practices.

Someone that can communicate Henkel’s vision to drive a sense of purpose among their team. The successful candidate must be an inclusive leader that demonstrates passion and determination to develop and implement business plans with their team, distribution partners and customers.

They must also be able to foster collaboration, empowering others to contribute their strengths and ideas in an open team environment.

  • Drive profitable sales growth for the General Manufacturing (GM) and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) product lines.
  • Lead, train, coach and develop a sales team.
  • Actively manage CRM (ACE) data for the region.
  • Manage expense budgets in accordance with company guidelines / targets.
  • Collaborate and support MRO Business Development Manager (BDM) initiatives.
  • Independently build and develop strong relationship with large and strategic customers.
  • Manage key Industrial Distribution (ID) Partners and collaborate with CDN National Distribution Account Manager (NDAM) on channel initiatives in Western Canada.
  • Create and implement business plans with distribution partners and end-users.
  • Actively manage pricing within the region to increase profitably.
  • Support corporate initiatives.
  • Facilitate close cooperation with other departments and groups within the company.

Actively partner with HR in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires along with development of direct reports.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Five years or greater of industrial selling experience, including : Knowledge and experience of extraction methods for Mining and Oil and Gas;

Experience in Protective coatings for mining; Experience and working knowledge with Industrial Distribution.

  • Resilient and adaptable.
  • Exhibit integrity and accountability.
  • Specific skills and working experience selling into the GM / MRO market segments.
  • Proven track record in solution / value selling.
  • This position requires 50% travel.
