NationalAccount Manager, Western Canada (Consumer Goods, Remote)
Ourclient, a rapidly growing Consumer Goods Confectionery &Snacking company, is looking to hire a National Account Manager tojoin their team on a Permanent, Full-time basis.
TheNational Account Manager will ideally live in the Greater Vancouver Area ,or Calgary and will be responsible for managing a number of Regionalaccounts including;
Save-On Foods, London Drugs, Sobey’s, Federated Co-op,Loblaws (Westfair), Circle K (Calgary) , 711, Husky, Shell,. This will be a remote, home-office role ,with the company’s head office located in Mississauga, ON.
Reportinginto the Director of Sales & Strategic Planning, the National AccountManager will be responsible for delivering growth, profit, market share, andrevenue targets at with assigned accounts via a strong fact-based analyticalsales approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop strategic plans with your customersand deliver quick resolution to issues, while identifying and capturingopportunities
- Develop processes and strategies to optimizethe resources and results with National and Regional customers
- Use systems, technologies & standardmethodologies to streamline and optimize reporting and sales processes
- Use in-depth analysis to provide feedback onmonthly, quarterly forecasts with accuracy
- Cross collaborates with internal teams tomaximize efficiencies
- Assist with planogram, pricing, promotionaland category management activities as the need arises
- Support the development of e-commerceprograms within National and Regional Accounts
- Develop and refine strategic selling skills,building towards future responsibility growth within large National Accounts
EDUCATION :
Post-Secondary Education, with preference toa business degree
REQUIREMENTS :
- 7-10 years of National Account Management forconsumer goods
- Experience selling into Western retailersincluding; Save-On Foods, London Drugs, Sobey’s, Federated Co-op, Loblaws (Westfair),Circle K (Calgary), 711, Husky, and Shell,
- Proven success developing, presenting, andimplementing business plans
- Proven success directly managing and sellingto national retailers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexible schedule to accommodate travel andcustomer requirements

- Proven track record in meeting planobjectives & goals
