Your New Role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical projects from contract award to completion.
Reporting to the management team, you will ensure projects are executed successfully within budget and schedule.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Reviewing project specifications and blueprints
- Preparing budgets and generating invoices
- Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitoring project progress and implementing solutions to keep projects on track
- Conducting regular site visits and managing sub-contractors
- Managing manpower needs and attending project meetings
- Preparing detailed project documentation
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in electrical project management for projects ranging from $100,000 to $2,500,000
- Ability to work effectively in both office and construction environments
- Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat / Bluebeam; knowledge of AutoCad, Revit, BIM360, Procore, Autodesk BUILD is an asset
- Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in blueprint and specification reading
- Knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- A valid G-License and clean driver’s abstract
