Meritech Engineering is a growing, Waterloo Region based civil engineering firm that is offering a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow and learn from a wide variety of projects and duties well leading a group of dedicated professionals.

The Firm is known for producing innovative designs and is well-respected by clients and approval authorities within the Region.

What your day could look like

You are a self-starting, confident individual who will :

  • Work with fellow Meritech Engineering Team members to exceed client expectations, not just meet them.
  • Execute project plans including controlling the scope, budget and scheduling of projects
  • Document and track project performances to ensure projects stay on plan, creating EC’s and communication with the client when changes occur
  • Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget of your projects
  • Prepare and present executive reports for the Senior Management Team
  • Work with the Design and Construction Group Managers to manage project teams development by delegating and aligning project tasks with capabilities and career goals
  • Comply with and helping to enforce Meritech Engineering policies and procedures

How you will succeed :

  • Excellent time management, focus, communication and organization skills
  • You thrive in thinking ahead to the next step and how that will help with the successful completion of your projects and strive to move projects forward with minimum risk while achieving maximum benefits
  • Your 5 plus years of experience in Consulting Engineering has given you a strong understanding of the principles of successful project management.

Experience within the engineering field is an asset

  • You want to be a part of our top-notch team while still bringing your individual ideas and experiences
  • PMP, P.Eng or CET credentials are considered an asset
