Location : Downtown Toronto. 2 days in office

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Markets Quality Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our online brokerage platforms.

This position requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of capital markets, and a passion for automation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation : Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python and other relevant tools to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency.

AI Integration : Leverage AI modeling tools like conformIQ and ChatGPT to automate testing tasks, identify potential issues, and improve overall test coverage.

Technical Troubleshooting : Dive deep into code to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our platforms.

Quality Assurance : Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and mitigate defects.

Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing test results, identifying trends, and proposing innovative solutions.

Qualifications :

Technical Proficiency : Strong programming skills in Python and experience with automation frameworks. AI Expertise : Familiarity with AI modeling tools like Conformiq and ChatGPT.

Domain Knowledge : A solid understanding of capital markets, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.

Communication : Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Self-Motivation : A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a financial institution, preferably in capital markets.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
