ABOUT THE POSITION

As part of growing company, the Auto Team Lead will play vital role in leading a team of 15+ Road Agents, while maintaining and growing positive relationships with dealerships.

The incumbent will be expected to wear many hats and also be a part of the sales and services process.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Learn and understand the organization's culture, mission, vision, purpose, and values and ensure they are prompted in everything you do
  • Act as first point of contact for agents, dealers, and road customers
  • Dealer relations : Develop and continue building rapport and presence with dealershipsAddress concerns and suggestions for improvement from dealershipsObtain regular feedback from dealerships
  • Road Operations : Ensure smooth and efficient operations on the road, at dealerships, and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Create team schedules
  • Problem-solving (transactional and team-related)
  • Address and resolve concerns from team members and customers
  • Coach and train new Road Agents
  • Maintain a keen sense of intuition, a positive attitude, self-motivation, self-assurance, and a high-level of emotional intelligence
  • Remain flexible and seek creative options to solve problems effectively

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Level-1 License with solid knowledge of private auto, sales strategies, and ICBC procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
  • Experience in mobile road service is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, rapport building and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to coach and train team members effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with EPIC an asset, ICBC policy center and private auto carrier portals

COMPENSATION

  • $65,000 to $70,000 + commission on your own Auto, Personal and Commercial Lines clients
  • Performance based bonus
