Asan Estimator with our Civil Team youwill :

• Beresponsible for all estimating aspects of the Tenderingprocess;
• Reviewtender documents to determine the scope of work including projectmilestones andconstraints;
• Beresponsible for having a thorough and complete knowledge andunderstanding of the tender documents drawings specifications andaddendum;
• Assistthe Senior or Chief Estimator in the development of competitivetenders;
• Providedetailed estimates with complete quantity takeoff including thescope ofwork;
• Buildlevel 1 schedule in MS Project with resources and projectmilestones;
• Preparefinal estimate summaries analyzing each section for scope pricingandcompleteness;
• Maintainfiles of working documents as backup for estimate data includingcurrent and accurate information on prices fromsuppliers;
• Participatein postbid interviews with operationsteam;
• Provideleadership and establish and maintain compelling and harmoniousrelationships with allstaff;
• IncreaseEBC s brand and visibility in the GTAMarket;
• Assistthe Senior or Chief Estimator and the Director to ensure EBC meetsthe variousmilestones;
• Establishand keep outstanding communications between subcontractorssuppliers andconsultants;
• Ensurechair internal bid review meetings with EBC s seniormanagement.

Requirements

• Degreein civil engineering or constructionengineering;
• Previousexperience in estimating civil constructionprojects;
• Experiencein heavy civil pricing work such as cofferdams shoring roadconstruction bridge rehabilitation inwaterworks;
• Experienceusing estimating software and systems and capacity to adapt to newestimatingsoftware;
• Strongorganizational skills with the ability tomultitask;
• Experiencewith TPL Estimating software would be considered anasset;
• Advancedskills in management negotiation communication andproblemsolving;
• Attentionto detail and problemsolvingskills;
• Excellenttime management skills and ability to prioritizework;
• Estimatesetup for job costing and job cost analysis of active and completedproject.

• Degree in civil engineering or construction engineering; Previousexperience in estimating civil construction projects; Experience inheavy civil pricing work such as cofferdams, shoring, roadconstruction, bridge rehabilitation, in-water works;
• Experienceusing estimating software and systems and capacity to adapt to newestimating software; Strong organizational skills with the abilityto multi-task;
• Experience with TPL Estimating software would beconsidered an asset; Advanced skills in management, negotiation,communication, and problem-solving;
