About the Job :
Mindwire Systems is seeking the services of a Senior Business Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our Valued Clients.
Client Location : Ottawa, ON
Working Environment : Hybrid
Responsibilities but not limited to :
- Identify, articulate and plan business analysis activities and deliverables, guiding the project team and stakeholders to complete requirements gathering and analysis activities;
- Identify gaps, constraints and / or assumptions in business, functional and / or data requirements and work with project team and stakeholders to address;
- Plan and facilitate visioning exercises, requirements gathering workshops and reviews;
- Perform fit-gap analysis of requirements to system functionality;
- Reverse engineer existing system functionality to retroactively capture requirements;
- Gather and document functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
- Create and maintain test cases to support functional unit and integration testing.
- Create and update Business Requirements and other documents such as processes, use cases, workflows, mock-ups, and business rules on an ongoing basis (Word / Excel / Visio / PowerPoint)
Requirements and Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience performing business analysis of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows Experience coordinating and leading multiple, simultaneous project teams across multiple departments
- Federal Government Clearance : Reliability (Level 1)
- Bilingualism an asset (French & English)
