Job Description :
The Payroll Associate is an integral part of the Boyd Group’s payroll team responsible for processing accurate and timely payments for approximately 10,000+ employees.
Ensuring highly accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing is of the utmost importance.
Key Job Responsibilities
Setup and maintenance of employees in the payroll system in compliance with applicable wage and tax laws.
Setup and accuracy of taxes.
Maintain payroll data by collecting, calculating and entering data on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.
Deliver prompt, friendly and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay.
Keep informed on legislation and regulatory rulings impacting payroll and develop recommended solutions to ensure compliance in all federal and state jurisdictions.
Education and / or Experience Required
3-4 years experience in a similar payroll position processing a full cycle payroll.
PCP Certification is preferred.
Experience with ADP Workforce and / or Vantage HCM would be an asset.
Required Skills / Abilities
Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for details
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage workload within tight deadlines through strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Excel is required
Ability to work flexible hours when required
