Metal Production - Warehouse Associate

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years working in the metal production environment and be a self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal training and supervision.

• $18 / hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• loading, unloading and organizing of steel product
• shipping and receiving assistance
• forklift operation (will train on site)
• overhead crane operation (will train on site)
• preparation of orders
• some machine operation to cut orders to size

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse / shipping experience required
• Overhead crane operation experience an asset
• Forklift experience an asset
• Must be able to read measurement tools
• Steel toed safety shoes with met guards required, all other PPE provided
• Reliable transportation an asset- bus service is available but limited
• Ability to work in a moderate to fast paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
