Our client, is seeking an experienced project manager who will focus on guiding project teams through all phases of the design process;

providing mentoring to junior staff on the development of excellent technical modelling and detailing skills and the application of local building code and zoning ordinances.

You will also be responsible for client communications, contract documentation, project scheduling, team leadership, building design, revenue projections and construction administration.

Role Requirements

Strong design ability to work with Principals and lead, develop and maintain design intent on residential projects of various scales.

Manage project delivery process and ensure that design reviews occur at the designated stages of projects.

Able to manage several large scale projects concurrently

Ability to work with and manage team members.

Create and monitor project schedules against allocated budgets.

Monitor scope creep and facilitate additional service requests when required

Strong technical ability to lead and coordinate a cross disciplinary team to ensure that project requirements, deliverables, compliance to authorities / regulations having jurisdiction and deadlines for all phases of work are maintained.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

OAA in good standing an asset

Minimum of 10-15 years of industry experience

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of architectural design, building codes construction and costs

Proven ability to identify and solve problems and resolve conflicts

Strong oral and written communication skills

AutoCAD and Revit skills required.

LEED AP certification is a plus
