Hours : Between 28 and 40 hours per weekSalary : Based on skills and experienceStart Date : As soon as possibleWork Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM (on-site and remote) Roles and Responsibilities- Order Preparation : Responsible for preparing and tracking orders, documenting shipments, and communicating with carriers.- Shipment Planning : Develop and implement shipping plans based on customer requests, stock levels, and available transport capacity.- Logistics Coordination : Work with carriers and customers to ensure efficient shipment organization and resolve any logistical issues.- Inventory Management : Monitor bulk commodity stock levels and collaborate with production teams to anticipate needs and maintain a smooth and flexible logistics flow.- Cost Analysis : Assess shipping costs and propose solutions to optimize logistics expenses.- Tracking and Reporting : Establish performance indicators to monitor the efficiency of shipping operations and produce regular reports for management.- Compliance and Safety : Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and applicable regulations. Technical and Professional SkillsDegree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.Previous experience in shipment planning and logistics, preferably in the bulk commodities sector.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in computer tools.Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written.
