If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and excel at keeping production running smoothly, this is the opportunity for you!What You’ll DoAs our Production Coordinator, you’re an integral part of the core sales and administrative team and make a real impact : Production & Data Management (60%)Enter and manage sales orders and production data using Agriware (Dynamics 365 Business Central) ERP.Utilize capacity planning tools to optimize production scheduling and resource allocation.Collaborate with the COO, Head Grower, and Sr. Production Coordinator to create and refine production schemes.Ensure timely preparation for production, including material orders, scheduling adjustments, customer follow-ups, and forecasting.Customer Service (20%)Professionally and efficiently handle customer inquiries about inventory, planting schedules, and materials.Implement price changes and communicate updates to customers.Provide outstanding support while referring complex issues to the sales team or VP as needed.Administrative Support (20%)Maintain seed inventory, perform quality checks, and adhere to FIFO principles.Oversee documentation for food safety assurance, organic certifications and annual audits.Step into key administrative roles as needed to keep operations running smoothly.What We’re Looking ForTo thrive in this role, you’ll bring a mix of skills, experience, and attributes that set you apart : A college or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1 to 2 year program preferred3–5 years of experience in production coordination within horticulture, manufacturing, or logistics / warehousing.Commercial horticultural or agricultural experience is a strong asset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or ERP systems is a bonus.A knack for critical thinking and problem-solving, with a strong focus on optimizing processes.A self-motivated and independent work ethic, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively within and across teams.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Why Join Ontario Plants Propagation?Be Part of Something Big : Work for a company that’s a leader in commercial horticulture and deeply committed to quality and innovation.Collaborative Culture : Join a close-knit, professional team where your contributions are valued.Professional Growth : Expand your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Competitive Compensation : Full-time hours, consistent schedule, and a supportive workplace.Ready to Plant Your Roots with Us?Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career with Ontario Plants Propagation!
