Description :

• Leadthe development and delivery of functional and ministryspecificanalytics to support evidencebased decisionmaking and produceactionableinsights.
• Workclosely with client groups to assess current data analytics andreporting capabilities gather futurestate requirements and identifyfurther opportunities forimprovement.
• Facilitatedecisionmaking and manage clientexpectations.
• Ownthe execution of analytics initiatives including endtoend reportingand data setdelivery.
• Participatein documentation development testing Work with functional areaexperts Data Architects and ETL Developers and stakeholders tounderstand complex business issues and develop appropriate BusinessIntelligencesolutions.
• Designmethods to capture structure transform and process data to be usedto generatemodels.
• Builddata models that provide information which is accurate easy tounderstand andunbiased.

The general scope of work for theDatabase Administratorinvolves :

• Assistingwith the transformation / cleaning of data from a legacy databaseinto a new datawarehouse
• Determineappropriate data structure for remaining relevant legacydata
• Developmapping and transformation rules to align the twodatabases
• Createdata dictionary for newdata
• Developconnections with multiple other government databases and developsystem to maintain the connection so that it does not go out ofdate
• SupportingPower BI visualization and reportbuilding
• Developand test any automated data validation tools deemednecessary
