Position Summary :
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Research Analyst I supports Cancer Genomics Program initiatives by collecting and managing clinical research data.
Responsibilities include ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and performing administrative tasks. This hybrid position involves both on-site and remote work.
Duties :
- Collect clinical research data for studies in support of Cancer Genomics Program initiatives review medical charts for relevant informationrecord clinical research data in electronic case report forms (eCRFs)ensure the quality and integrity of data collected
- Study-related administrative tasks organize meetingstake minutesobtain signatureshelp prepare submissions to, and track approvals from the Research Ethics Board
- Interpret the applicable regulations in order to ensure compliance
Qualifications
- At minimum, a completion of a Bachelor’s degree program, or recognized equivalent in Health or Science-Related Discipline
- Demonstrated relevant clinical research knowledge
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in some or all of oncology, clinical trials, medical terminology, and regulatory issues involving human subjects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, prioritization skills, computer skills, ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and attend to details
- Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance with UHN standards
- Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks
- Knowledge of applicable legislative, UHN and / or departmental policies
- Satisfactory attendance
- Certification as a Clinical Research Professional an asset
- Experience with REDCap databases an asset
