Job Description
The Complex Care and Recovery Program is seeking two full-time, one (1) year contract Research Analysts to assist with multiple ongoing research protocols.
Reporting to the Principle Investigators and the Research Managers in the Schizophrenia Division, your duties will include but are not limited to :
- Maintenance of study databases and data analysis
- Tracking referrals and metrics for the division’s Centralized Recruitment Model
- Recruitment and follow-up of study participants
- Coordinating study appointments and procedures
- Liaising with clinic managers, clinicians, and clinical staff
- Organizing and maintaining study and regulatory documents
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of research ethics board (REB) protocols
The candidates will maintain contact with non-CAMH partners and program participants. They will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements.
This position is located at 1051 Queen Street West, but travel to other community clinics and sites may be required.
Minimum Requirements
The successful candidates will have a Bachelor's of Science degree in global health or related field, combined with one (1) year of relevant research or clinical experience, particularly working with individuals with mental health issues, including psychotic disorders.
Knowledge and proficiency in PC software skills, including Microsoft : Office, and internet search engines is required. Experience in the administration of clinical rating scales and neurocognitive assessments (SCID-5, YMRS, MADRS, BPRS, MATRICS, SCoRS) is required.
You are detail oriented, well-organized, and possess a strong technical aptitude. Experience in the recruitment and screening of human subjects, data collective techniques, quantitative and / or qualitative research methodology is required.
You will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; and function well within a cooperative, collaborative working environment.
You have the ability for self-directed learning / working; while working concurrently on multiple projects, and have experience maintaining large databases.
Candidates must be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (English / French) and / or proficiency in another language is considered an asset.
