What will you do?

As a Product Specialist you join the dynamic Electrical Products business within Siemens Canada and will be primarily responsible for driving the conversion of legacy products to new product offerings.

This would be a perfect springboard for you to hone your skills and build a future with technology with purpose!

Responsibilities :

Drive conversion of legacy products to new current product offering by :

  • Utilizing quotations tools to analyze and modify existing project quotes.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with various teams (sales, quotations, project execution, product management).
  • Converting existing quotes with legacy products to new product offering.
  • Conversion progress reporting and analysis.
  • Assists with user requests when required to ensure an appropriate level of internal customer service is achieved
  • Reasonable availability during off-hours for new system implementation / upgrade, server and network maintenance
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Basic understanding of power distribution systems would be an asset
  • Basic understanding of electrical specifications and single line diagrams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau an asset (preferred)
