Delta Closets & Budget Blinds is a leader in designing and installing custom closets, wall beds, home and garage storage systems, and window coverings throughout the lower mainland.

We are looking for a Closet & Window Coverings Installer who be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Sales & Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include the following :

• Perform closet and window covering installations and ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
• Review project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of closet systems.
• Install closet systems and window coverings in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial spaces.
• Communicate regularly with Sales & Operations manager to provide updates on project progress and identify any issues that may arise.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve installation processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and workspaces.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions that may arise during the installation process, with a view to acquiring 5 star google reviews and customer referrals.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in carpentry or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in closet and / or window covering installation, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
• Be a punctual, reliable self starter, who takes pride in their work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
• Solid understanding of building codes and regulations related to closet installation.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• A criminal record check may be required.

Delta Closets & Budget blinds are based out of Surrey, near Cloverdale. You will be provided with a company vehicle to operate between the Surrey shop and the installation location.

We are offering $25.00 - $35.00 per hour to the right candidate. We also provide extended health and dental coverage.
