Senior Business Analyst, Digital Engineering Solutions -Remote

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Digital Engineering Solutions team. This individual will be a part of the Development group within the Digital Engineering Solutions team.

Their responsibilities will include ensuring that business needs are translated into actionable strategies and changes that are in accordance with business objectives and customer requirements, and that processes are optimized to facilitate the delivery of projects.

Additionally, they will be responsible for making strategic decisions.

As a member of the Digital Engineering Solutions team, the Development group will also engage in research and development and provide guidance and oversight to the AEC practices at CDM Smith, engaging in new product research, testing, and the incubation of innovative ideas that arise from around the company.

The ideal candidate should possess an extensive background in Analyzing business processes, communicating with stakeholders, providing recommendations, identifying areas for improvement, along with a commitment to continuous advancement and interest that drives measurable results.

• Collaborating closely with higher management and stakeholders to collect both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Engage in gathering and evaluating information from multiple sources
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or redundancies in the streamlining of workflows by mapping out current business processes using flowcharts or diagrams to visualize how tasks are conducted.
• Ensure that functional requirements capture and are in line with business needs by bridging the gap between Development and Business teams.
• Technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills are necessary for roles involving stakeholder management and communication.
• creates training materials and user manuals to assist employees in adapting to new procedures or systems, as well as Holding training sessions guarantees that staff members are competent and ready to use the new solution.
