Reporting to the Outlets Leadership Team youare the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Host youwill make our guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive!Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are notlimited to the following :
- Greet andseat guests in a warm and courteousmanner
- Ensure all servers are distributed equalnumbers of guests
- Be able to field any guestquestions in an informed and professionalmanner
- Take and coordinate guestreservations
- Ensure guest satisfaction andcompliance to Fairmont Hotels and Resorts Food & Beveragestandards
- Other projects as assigned by theoutlets manager onduty
Qualifications :
- Good knowledgeof Windowbased programs (word exceletc.)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook andInternet based software
- Knowledge of PropertyManager Computer System is an asset
- Good foodand beverage knowledge
- Excellentcommunication skills in both officiallanguages
- Friendly courteous andable to work in a high pacedenvironment
- Knowledge of the Ottawaarea
